The Phenomenal Friday blog is dedicated to highlighting the accomplishments of the Millville Public School Employees!

"I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and give a big shout out to everyone who helped at Bacon last week while I was out.  Pat Wulk and Bobby Barber covered the staff meeting, Dr. Moore made herself available here during the school day, Kim Berry and Amy Scull handled some student issues and kept me in the loop during those few days, and our awesome staff stepped up and didn't miss a beat.  Thank you all!"
-Mike Coyle, Principal

"A special shout out to Dominick Carapelli for putting out fires every day to assure that our school and staff are supported.  You are truly a valuable member to our team and we could not embark on this journey without you."

"To all of my teachers who have helped with new teachers or assisted with unfilled positions.  Thank you .  Your kindness , support and professionalism does not go unnoticed.  You rock!
-Stephanie DeRose, Principal

"Thank you to Beth Benfer for presenting Focused Note-taking to the LMS staff!"

"Thank you to Kelli Adams and Patty DePasquale for processing the 6th grade immunizations."
-Spike Cook, Principal

"Our most sincere appreciation and thank you to: Maria Conigliaro, Jessica Hults, Kelly Irelan, and Andery Peterson.  These classroom instructional aides took on the responsibility of getting a preschool classroom ready for the opening of school.  They effectively dealt with all of the paperwork, tears and fears from parents and children that happen at this young age."
-JoAnn Burns, Principal

"After careful data analysis on AP Lit & Comp exam scores, 82% of our test-takers passed the exam compared to 47.4% nationally. Congratulations, to Tara Cotton for all her hard work, as well as, all the students' previous high school English teachers. Way to go Millville English Department!"
-Maggie Colina, Supervisor

"I would like to thank Brian Robinson, Steve Saul, and Mike Coyle for allowing me the time to sit with their K-2 staff for an hour each this week. The transition to a new math program is not easy and I really appreciate the time to sit with the teachers who are living it every day to hear what's going well, what's difficult to implement, and just to let them vent their frustrations if necessary. I have learned a lot from these meetings that I wouldn't be able to get otherwise. Thanks for allowing us the time to chat."
-Bobby Barber, Supervisor

"Dr. Pete Arsenault has been a tremendous resource for our new self-contained BD program at MSHS. Pete‘s enthusiasm and dedication to making sure the program has a solid foundation is appreciated by all.  Pete is constantly looking at ways to improve the education and lives of our students."
-Steve Matusz, Exec. Director Special Services

"I would like to personally thank Henry Hartman for dropping everything to help me find a last minute location for my Data Presentation to the History and English Departments this week.  The band room worked perfectly.  We had enough space for the entire group and appreciated the air conditioning!  Thanks again."
-Pat Wulk, Supervisor

"Thank you to Bob Trivellini, Henry Hartman and the grant writing team at Rieck Avenue School. In a short period of time, a grant application for arts integration and STEM was able to be written and submitted. Thank you, especially to Bob for crafting and submitting the grant. We couldn't have done it without these tremendous efforts."
-Brian Robinson, Principal

"Thank you to Kristin O'Donnell for assisting the new self-contained high school teachers on a daily basis and taking the time to run a Realtime training after school."

"Thank you to Mebane Sherman and Lynn Riley for working their substitute magic on a daily basis."
-Jessica Kauffman, Dept. Chair

Thank you to Ryan Malone. Ryan created a set of new reports for nurses to make their daily life a little easier. Also, a big thank you to Kelly Hughey for working with Ryan to get these reports in a form useful to the nurses.

"Thank you to Karen Kappre for providing excellent service to our customers. She is always positive, pleasant and is a good role model for the technicians that she manages.
-Dan Wright, Chief Information Officer

A big thank you to the Silver Run Staff for not only creating a warm welcoming for our new members, but for taking the time to support their transition as well.  To our New Staff Members, Welcome to our family!"

"I would like to thank the HR Department for their tireless work in getting positions posted and employees recommended for hire."
-Eric Reissek, Principal

"I enjoyed a powerful experience observing some of our dedicated speech pathologists in action yesterday! I visited both Child Family Center and Rieck Avenue. This shout-out is for you! Courtney Frolic, Megan Fawley, Kelly McAvoy working to help give our students the gift of communication! Keep up the great work."
